Overview

Electrohydraulic (EH) controls offer increased functionality to allow operators to customize machine operations based on preference. The EH controls also require less operator effort and are not as fatiguing over longer periods of operation compared to manual linkages. With fewer physical components and maintenance requirements, EH control machines provide operators with increased productivity across a variety of job applications.

Small Frame Skid Steer and Compact Track Loader Bucket Edge & Teeth

Smooth Cutting Edge

• Cutting edges are great for lower density and loose materials such as silage, snow, or processed aggregates and are ideal when back dragging because they offer increased penetration and strength to standard bucket effectiveness
• Cutting edges extend out further than the bucket, resulting in less wear on bucket bottom and sides and extending the overall life of the bucket
• Bolt-on edges are reversible and require no welding to install or remove
  • When a side is worn down, simply remove the bolts and flip the edge around
  • Reversing edge doubles the life of one single edge

Serrated Edge

• Offers improved penetration and aggressiveness over a smooth cutting edge

• The design makes it easy to hold cut depth while excavating and is also good for grading and back dragging
• The serrated edge can be flipped around to use as a smooth cutting edge when preferred making it much more versatile.

Bucket Teeth

• Teeth provide greater bucket strength to handle dense material such as compacted soil and rock

• Sharp teeth loosen material, helping an operator fill the bucket quickly and effectively

Tooth Bar

• In addition to providing the benefits of adding teeth, a tooth bar provides additional protection to the front of the bucket

• Installation of a tooth bar is quick and easy, with a bolt-on point on each side of the bucket.
• A tooth bar is an easy, versatile, and economical alternative to individual both-on or weld-on teeth.

Buckets

Overview

John Deere offers six different style buckets for small frame machines. These buckets are designed to take advantage of the steep dump angles and high bucket rollback of John Deere skid steers and CTLs. Ideal bucket style will vary between applications; the right bucket for the job will balance the breakout forces and carrying capacity needed for the task at hand.

Construction Bucket

• Low-profile backplate for better operator visibility to cutting edge
• Rounded interior for excellent fill-and-dump performance

• Lower breakout forces versus shorter dirt or grading buckets
• Cutting-edge and bolt-on tooth-bar holes are pre-drilled for easy assembly

Foundry Bucket

• Shorter from bucket heel to cutting edge for maximum breakout force in tough digging conditions

• Bolt-on tooth-bar holes are pre-drilled

Grading Heel Bucket

• Smooth bottom free of lifts or edges

• Square back heel design for land shaping and dirt leveling applications where back dragging is required
• Ideal for landscape installation, sodding, irrigation, and drainage.

Tooth Bucket

• Made especially for loosening compacted soil or grubbing out rocks

• Offers a flat bottom (unlike one with tooth-bar kit added) making it excellent for back-dragging

Utility Bucket

• Perfect for light, high-volume materials like woodchips, sawdust, snow, grain, or fertilizer

• Bolt-on cutting edge holes are pre-drilled for easy installation
